With the improvements in mobile technology, smart phones and tablets, Government and other public serving resources have an opportunity to improve their service delivery models and make the programs that serve constituents more effective. In order to accomplish this, government must understand how mobile technology can be leveraged and identify the areas of education necessary to insure that today’s workforce is prepared to use this technology to accomplish these goals.

Californians are becoming more mobile and technologically savvy. Their expectation of being able to access public agency information which answers their questions and solves their problems at the push of a button will gain urgency. To meet this service expectation, government organizations need to understand how to improve their use of social networking, communication resources, and constituent interfaces in order to satisfy this demand.
